Multi-layered reality

As we’ve traveled this land, there is a sense of the many layers of human existence here, and at times it is rather unsettling, and at other times, interesting and deeply moving. We humans have had quite the journey, yes?

Meanwhile, back on earth…

From Downloading a Friendly Universe: “The wake-up call is this: Creation is calling upon you to remember your true nature as powerful beings involved in a divine Plan. The Plan includes forgetting who you are, so that you may make the “return trip” to your remembrance—stronger in your purpose, mature in your collective wisdom. It…

Co-creating a hot new reality!

Notes from the road: Co-creating a hot new reality Greetings from the heat of another day in Northern Texas! Last night, before our talk in the Dallas area on The Near Death Experience from Both Sides of the Veil, I glanced at the thermometer in the car, and saw 117°–while parked in the shade. Oh…

In the heat of the moment, diving for miracles

On this road trip, after we left the wet side of the Pacific Northwest Mountains, the search for an escape from the heat was a prominent desire. Whether it was a shady place to park the car or our bodies, an air conditioned room, or a water source to dive into, it’s become abundantly clear…

road trip: leaving the west coast

Tears fell as we took one more journey to the salty air of a Pacific Coast beach. The wind blew in from the north–a cold July day contributing to our quiet and sad moods. I suggested the beach because it was only an hour away from our friend’s house in Corvallis Oregon, and I thought…

Moving southward: tell us where to go!

This is the last day of staying in the lil’ cabin in the woods of Pt Gamble. 2 weeks of rain and forest and sea and rest and some good spurts of writing…

journey alone, journey together

I believe i have been a journeyer all my life. From childhood and well into adulthood, I had the  sneaking suspicion that I was just a visitor to this planet, so  I saw just about everything through the eyes of a journeyer. Rather than simply accept whatever status quo I was taught, I’d ask questions…

the road trip begins

Hello from a small cabin in the woods, offered by a wonderful family I’ve worked with. We are still in Washington state in the tiny historic town of Pt. Gamble, catching our breath after a tumultuous and exhausting move. We’ve managed to downsize our 3 story home of 20 years to a 10 x 15 storage unit and a car: quite the achievement!. My buying habits are forever changed; more stuff right now is not attractive, and I envision our future home to be less cluttered with all that stuff.

But we shall see, because…

We’ve only just begun our Spirit Trip .

You are my destiny….

Here is evidence of how sad, tired, and yet excited I am about my love’s and my new adventure: I cried at my last Zumba fitness class yesterday, while dancing to the Slumdog Millionaire song, “Jai ho”. The song is about the destiny of love, and it struck me that over the 26 years of…

impermanence

The beautiful multiple-petal tulips are the last of the tulips from our spring garden. A gift from Jim as we both rush around the house sorting out our lives of 20 years here, they are a reminder of the beauty we have lived with, and a reminder of something else: The impermanence of everything: Our lives, our thoughts, our ideas, opinions, beliefs, homes, bodies—and the weather, the earth, the stars, the sun….you get the idea. The tulips are beautiful, but if you look closely , they are dry around the edges, and the petals will fall off any time now. Something to be admired for a moment…and then it’s gone.
